Will I still need insurance with a DPC membership?

Yes, you will still need to keep your insurance for expenses outside of the primary care office, including specialists, hospital care and outside testing.

Is this a concierge service?

No. DPC provides a concierge level of service, but traditional concierge services bill a monthly or yearly fee and bill your insurance - so you can still be responsible for copays and deductibles. DPC does not bill insurance at all so no hidden fees, just an affordable monthly payment.

How does DPC model save money?

You will not have to pay co-pays or hit a deductible amount. Just the monthly fee and have unrestricted access to the provider. We have also negotiated low costs on lab tests, imaging and prescription medications. Plus, get visits when you need them, which saves you time and money!

How many patients will you see?

Unlike regular traditional primary care providers with thousands of patients, I want to make sure I have availability for you, while maintaining little to no wait times, as well as non-rushed visits. My patient panel will be capped at 500.

What about labs, imaging and prescriptions?

All members have basic in-office testing that is included in your monthly membership. For all other labs and imaging, I have partnered with local companies and negotiated prices for paying cash. I will also work with pharmacies to find you the best cash price on medications. However, if you would still like to submit your insurance, you certainly can.

Is there a contract or long-term agreement?

I do not require members to sign contracts, however, memberships are ongoing and expected to be paid monthly in order to receive ongoing services. I do request that you provide a 30-day written notice in order to cancel your membership- No questions asked and no hard feelings. However, if you do decide to renew your membership after letting it lapse or canceling, you will be required to pay the registration fee again.

What if I'm healthy and don't need to see a provider frequently?

My primary focus is to keep you well. Come as little or as much as you need- however, I am available 24/7 and can avoid urgent or ER visits for when you do get sick.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes- all visits are by appointment only. Please just give us a quick phone call to verify our schedule. I schedule visits for 30-60 minutes, so each patient gets the time they need.

What if I need a specialist referral or outside care?

I can send a referral or order just like any insurance-based provider can do and will work with your specialist on your plan of care.

Is medical weight loss included in my DPC membership?

Medical Weight Loss is not included in DPC, but Direct Primary Care and weight loss services can be combined and will receive a $50 a month discount.

Can I have a visit without becoming a member?

Although I recommend a membership, I can see you for a regular visit, either in person or virtual. They are $150 per visit, however this does not include the benefits of Direct Primary Care, including after hour visits or weekend visits.
